Michelle Berdeja is an entirely self taught architectural film photographer based out of San Antonio, Texas. Born and raised in the Chihuahuan Desert better known as El Paso, TX, she draws inspiration from lifestyle subjects that veil over or retreat into natural landscapes and urban scenes.

Her interest in film photography started as a child, when disposable cameras were a big commodity. She finds fascinating the anticipation of developing film, creating an opportunity to materialize and interpret a story through her frames.

The very first camera she owned was the coca-cola can camera from the late 90’s. Currently alternates between a Cannon AF35ML, a Pentax IQZoom 145m super, and Olympus-35 SP.
